Dragon Age creator David Gaider believes the series is likely dead after Dragon Age: The Veilguard fell short of EA's sales expectations. Gaider, who left BioWare in 2016, said he would revisit the franchise if given the chance, taking it in a dark and dangerous direction. BioWare is now working on Mass Effect 5.
