One in four BSE 100 companies, 23 in total, failed to deliver meaningful annualised returns over the past three years. These stocks yielded 5% or less. The BSE 100 returned 9.3% over three years and 9.8% over five years. Laggards concentrated in consumer, IT, and BFSI sectors.
