US Government AI Chatbot Plagiarizes Minecraft Poem

A Bluesky user found that America.gov's new AI chatbot, reportedly running partly on Google's Gemini, reproduces Minecraft's End Poem with bureaucratic substitutions when prompted to "Play Minecraft," then denies writing it even when shown a PDF of the conversation. The bot also declines questions on Mississippi child marriage laws and eagle marriage legality.
