MIT Students Bring Tech Skills to Tulsa Tribes

Ten MIT undergraduates spent summer 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, interning with the Muscogee and Cherokee nations and local nonprofits through the PKG Center's Code.Tulsa program. They helped build the Muscogee Nation's first Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System survey and ran a STEM camp for 25 Native high schoolers selected from 160 applicants across 10 tribes.
