A 12-year-old HP ProBook 640 G1 is more repairable than a newer Dell 2-in-1 and MacBook Air. Its back panel slides off without tools, giving easy access to RAM and drive slots. The author upgraded the RAM from 4GB to 8GB and added a 128GB SSD.
