South Korea plans to mandate CO₂ reductions for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles starting in 2027. The rules aim to accelerate the rollout of battery-electric and hydrogen-powered trucks and buses. Compliance incentives for electrified passenger cars will also be extended.
