Apple adds Google Gemini coding assistant in Xcode 26.6 update

Apple released Xcode 26.6, adding Google Gemini as a third AI provider for the coding assistant. Gemini joins Anthropic Claude Agent and OpenAI Codex. The update also includes Swift 6.3.3, SDKs for iOS 26.5 and other platforms, and enables use of compatible agents through the Agent Client Protocol.
