LinkedIn on Wednesday launched tools to fight fake profiles, letting members vouch for colleagues and classmates and giving companies controls to remove accounts falsely claiming employment. Vouchers need verified profiles, a year-long connection and two-factor authentication. LinkedIn says 115 million users and over 700,000 companies have already verified, and verified members get 50% more post views.
