Chip Motors opens $15,000 EV preorders

Chip Motors, a Miami-based startup, began taking reservations for its $15,000 low-speed electric vehicle. The four- or six-seat LUV has a 25 mph top speed, 100-mile range, and uses remote operators for self-parking. Deliveries start in early 2027, with autonomous testing in Florida.
