SpaceX IPO investors face poor first-year returns

A study of 27 tech IPOs found average first-day gains of 35% but negative 3% returns after three months and negative 14% after six months. A separate Truist study of 30 software IPOs showed every single one experienced a significant drawdown during its first year. SpaceX remains far from profitable.
