Russian APT group Gamaredon ran 35 spear-phishing campaigns against Ukrainian targets in 2025, ESET reported. The attacks used new malware like PteroSand and exploited a patched WinRAR flaw (CVE-2025-8088) for persistence. Primary targets remain Ukrainian government and military institutions.
