Anthropic researcher quits over AI control fears

Jacob Coxon resigned from Anthropic, warning that AI firms are racing toward self-improving superintelligence and gambling with lives. He spent three years doing pre-training research at OpenAI and Anthropic, saying neither company is acting responsibly. Anthropic's Evan Hubinger agreed AI could kill all humans, estimating over 10% probability within a decade.
