Researcher Analyzes 3,000 Live ClickFix Payloads, Exposing API-Driven Malware Delivery

ClickFix malware now uses API-driven servers to deliver unique payloads per visitor. Researcher Bert-Jan Pals analyzed 3,000 live payloads and presented findings at OrangeCon. A new delivery method evades Windows script scanning. ESET measured a 517% jump in ClickFix attacks from late 2024 into early 2025.
