Bitcoin Options Share Hits 60% of Derivatives

Bitcoin options now account for just under 60% of open interest in the cryptocurrency's derivatives market, up from 50% at the start of the year. BlackRock's IBIT options tripled since January 2025, reaching nearly $35 billion, while the total market size grew to roughly $76 billion including crypto-native platforms.
