ZF develops a new electric drive targeting 30,000 RPM to reduce weight and space by 25 per cent compared to existing 18,000 rpm systems. The unit delivers 200 kW peak power and 3,500 Nm torque at the wheel. While still in pre-series phase, ZF aims to start series production by 2030 after reorganizing its e-mobility business this year.
