Alibaba's Qwen Chief Reveals New Robotics and Embodied AI Team

Lin Junyang, head of Alibaba's Qwen large language model, announced on X a new small team for robotics and embodied AI within Qwen. The team aims to evolve multimodal foundation models into foundation agents that move from virtual to physical worlds. Alibaba Cloud recently led a US$140 million funding round for robotics startup X Square Robot.
