Google taps Marvell for TPU silicon, $12.2B warrant

Google tapped Marvell to develop custom silicon for its TPU ecosystem, including AI inference accelerators and storage controllers. Marvell issued Google a warrant for nearly 59 million shares worth about $12.2 billion. Broadcom shares fell about 4% as investors reacted to the news.
