TeamFiltration Hits 5,700 Microsoft 365 Accounts

Proofpoint disclosed an active TeamFiltration campaign, UNK_CondorFiltration, that targeted over 5,700 accounts across 28 Microsoft 365 tenants from late July to August 2026. Attackers used default passwords on unmanaged service accounts, compromising seven accounts at Chilean retail and financial institutions. Six were breached within seven minutes, and the actor pivoted to VPN and cloud services.
