Anthropic Junior Tech Hiring Drops to 9%

Anthropic published internal data showing junior technical hiring fell from 27% to 9% between early 2025 and late 2025. While total headcount tripled to 1,300 employees by 2026, agents worked six times as many hours as humans by August 2026, with 80% of agent time spent waiting on human input.
