Developers release KoaOS, a headless UNIX-like operating system for the ESP32-S3 chip on the Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V4 board. The system offers a shell, GPS, weather, and APRS apps, plus an SDK for compiling C code. It currently supports only the Heltec V4 due to PSRAM requirements but allows network-based app installation.
