Researchers from the Robotics and AI Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts, recently developed AthenaZero, a dual-arm robot capable of human-like movements. Published in Science Robotics in 2026, the system successfully completed three baseball-inspired tasks: throwing balls, catching them, and hitting them with a bat.
