Tether invested $20 million into Argentine neobank Ualá as part of a $197 million equity funding round led by Allianz X and announced in March. The stablecoin issuer also invested $20 million in Brazilian crypto exchange Mercado Bitcoin in July and led a $14 million Series A for Argentine crypto platform Belo in April.
