OpenAI hires human rights lead for military AI

OpenAI appointed Sarah Yager as its first Human Rights and Responsible Deployment Lead in June to oversee military AI applications. Yager, who has 30 years of experience, previously worked with the Department of War after a contract dispute with Anthropic.
