Replit debuted Free Mode, powered by OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Luna model, for Core and Pro subscribers at $20 and $100 monthly. OpenAI cut Luna API costs by 80% on July 30. The feature defaults for paid users, routing complex tasks to other models automatically.
