Apple's iOS 27 developer beta makes older iPhones feel faster, not slower, directly countering planned obsolescence rumors. App launches are up to 30% faster, AirDrop is 80% faster, and Photos load about 70% faster. The update runs on every device that supported iOS 26, back to the iPhone 11.
