Imperial College London researchers trained an AI that reads ECGs in under two seconds, detecting heart failure and valve disease signs clinicians miss. In a 67,000-patient US trial, it identified up to 81% of heart failure and 90% of valve disease cases. The work is commercialized via spinout Cardiovolt.ai.
