Honda and Nissan announced a joint development agreement to standardize electronic control units, in-vehicle operating systems, and middleware for software-defined vehicles. First vehicles using the jointly developed technology are expected to arrive in the 2029 fiscal year. Mitsubishi is considering joining the tie-up.
