China's MIIT said HarmonyOS is now the world's third-largest mobile operating system. OpenHarmony ecosystem devices exceed 1.35 billion. OpenHarmony-based systems are used at scale in cars, home appliances, metallurgy, and petrochemicals. The figures were disclosed at a State Council Information Office press conference on Aug. 26.
