Android 17 adds Intrusion Logging, a feature that logs security events like app activity, network connections, and file transfers. The logs are end-to-end encrypted and stored on Google Cloud servers, with decryption tied to the user's account password and screen lock. Enabling the feature requires navigating to Settings > Security & privacy > Advanced Protection.
