Pilots seek simulator tests to verify AI crash

The pilots' body FIP asked the AAIB to conduct Boeing 787 simulator tests for the AI171 crash investigation. The tests aim to verify the relationship between RAT deployment and fuel control switch movement, and to independently check acceleration data from the AAIB's interim report on the 2025 Dreamliner crash.
