Pinecone Releases Open-Source Postgres Search

Pinecone today releases pgpinecone, an open-source Postgres extension under Apache 2.0. This tool indexes vector columns inside Postgres using a compact RaBitQ code summary instead of a graph. Benchmarks show the native engine builds a 136 MB index for 1 million 768-dimension vectors, compared with 2.0 GB for HNSW.
