Samsung May Produce Qualcomm's New 2nm Chips

Qualcomm is set to unveil its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Gen 6 Pro chipsets later this month. While earlier reports indicated TSMC would be the exclusive manufacturer, Samsung Foundry is reportedly still in contention. Discussions between Samsung and Qualcomm are ongoing regarding specifications, pricing, and process optimization for the 2nm chips. Samsung's 2nm yields are around 55%, below TSMC's 60-70%.
