Unitree CEO: robot ability like 10-year-old, mass use 3-5 years away

Unitree Robotics founder Wang Xingxing stated current robot technology is comparable to a 10-year-old child. Large-scale commercial adoption is three to five years away, at most a decade. Bottlenecks include limited AI generalization, low component yield rates, and lack of standardized scenarios. Shipments of humanoid robots are expected to reach 10,000 to 20,000 units.
