Google Maps adds speedometer to Android Auto

Google Maps has begun rolling out a live speedometer to Android Auto, appearing in version 26.29.02.946673643 beta for some users in Canada. The feature displays the vehicle's speed next to the speed limit, turning yellow or red when speeding. It has been available on Apple CarPlay for two years and on Android phones since 2019.
