Amazon will equip delivery drivers with smart glasses that capture images almost constantly, aiming for 5,000 drivers by year-end and over 20,000 by 2027. Customers cannot opt out, view, or delete images. The glasses feed Amazon's AI mapping system, and authorities with a warrant can obtain the images. A pilot has logged over 275,000 deliveries.
