Volvo UK will expand long-range plug-in hybrids as pure-EV demand lags. UK boss Nicole Melillo Shaw says hybrids must offer long electric-only range to be a true stepping stone. The new XC70 claims 124 miles of EV range, and an XC60 refresh will more than double its current 50-mile range.
