An Android Auto setting under Notifications called Play AI message summaries can be toggled off to stop Gemini from reading paraphrased long messages aloud. Turning off Notifications with Assistant under Messaging prevents any message from being read unless requested. Disabling Show group conversations kills group-chat pings entirely.
