SynkLoader, a new malware family, spreads via Microsoft Teams phishing, impersonating IT help desks. It uses a fake PowerShell Cleaner MSI hosted in Azure to steal Windows passwords via a fake lock screen. Expel researcher Marcus Hutchins linked it to ransomware operations.
