Deep space dishes dodge devastation from Spanish wildfires

Wildfires in Spain caused cable damage at NASA's Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex but left antennas and buildings intact. ESA's Cebreros station was declared operational. NASA shifted mission support to Goldstone and Canberra to maintain uninterrupted spacecraft communications.
