Amkor triples Arizona chip packaging campus to $12bn

Amkor is expanding its Arizona chip packaging campus to 93,000 square metres of cleanroom with a total investment of approximately $12bn. The company announced phase 2, adding 60,000 square metres to the 33,000 already planned, with construction starting in late 2027 and finishing by the end of 2029.
