Satellite imagery confirms a Ukrainian SBU drone strike destroyed a Russian Tu-95MS strategic bomber at Engels-2 air base. The strike covered an 800 km range. Only about 60 Tu-95s exist, making the Cold War-era asset irreplaceable. At least 10 have been photo-confirmed lost since 2022.
