CATL signed a 2 GWh agreement with Solarpro to deploy Tener Sodium energy storage systems in Central and Eastern Europe. The companies plan the region's first large-scale sodium-ion project this year. The system offers 15,000 cycles, 25-30 year life, and 92% capacity retention at -20°C.
