Ring's New Encryption Limits Police Video Access

Ring announced "Throw Away the Key Encryption" (TAKE), rolling out in September as the default for all customers. TAKE rotates encryption keys and deletes Ring's copy after 24 hours, limiting what the company can share with law enforcement to non-video information and encrypted files.
