Startup raises $11.2M for plant AI

Electric Plant raised a $11.2 million seed round led by Onto Ventures and Climactic. The startup built an AI model named Bombadil to interpret electrical signals from 125 plant species. Their sensors cost tens of dollars and claim to boost yields while reducing water use by 20% or more.
