X Square Robot raises $140 million from ByteDance, Sequoia

Embodied intelligence company X Square Robot completed a one billion yuan ($140 million) A++ funding round led by ByteDance, Sequoia China, and Shenzhen Capital Group. The round marks Shenzhen Capital's first investment from its new AI fund. Founded in December 2023, X Square Robot is the only domestic embodied intelligence firm backed by three major Chinese internet giants.
