A Rust-based macOS implant named Gaslight embeds a prompt injection payload to trick AI-assisted malware analysis tools into aborting analysis. SentinelOne attributed the malware to North Korea-aligned threat actors with high confidence. It uses a Telegram bot API for command-and-control and harvests browser data, keychain contents, and system profiles.
