Cyberattack Hits 30+ Minnesota Water Systems

A coordinated cyberattack targeted operational technology at more than 30 Minnesota community water systems on July 26 and 27. Braham's water plant went offline, while Plymouth, South St. Paul, and Maple Plain reported communications failures or affected controls. Minnesota IT Services is coordinating with federal agencies on containment and investigation.
