Norway will bar generative AI for students aged 6 to 13 starting in late August, citing harm to learning and cognitive development. Students aged 14 to 16 may use AI only under teacher supervision, while those 17 to 19 will learn responsible use. The country also plans to increase physical books in classrooms.
