WhatsApp Raises iOS Requirement to 15.5

Starting November 30, 2026, WhatsApp will require iOS 15.5 or later, up from iOS 15.1. Affected models include iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, iPhone SE (1st gen), iPhone 7, and 7 Plus. All can update to iOS 15.8.8 to stay compatible. No iPhone is being dropped outright.
