watchOS 27 drops Series 8, Ultra 1, SE 2 support

watchOS 27 will not support Apple Watch Series 8, first-generation Ultra, or SE 2, cutting off 2022 models after four years. Only Series 9, 10, 11, Ultra 2, Ultra 3, and SE 3 with S9 chip or newer will get the update. Apple has not explained the accelerated cutoff.
